What volume discounts are available?
MDaemon offers flexible user licencing with reduced pricing based on volume.

What is classed a 'user' for licencing purposes?
An MDaemon user in licencing terms is any mailbox on your server (users can have unlimited aliases).

Are there any minimum and maximum number of licences?
The minimum number of users is 5 and additional users can be purchased at any time. If you need more than 2500 users, please Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Is yearly renewal optional or mandatory?
MDaemon, Connector and ActiveSync will continue to function, whether you renew the licence or not. However, it's worth bearing in mind that if you don't renew, they won't be eligible for support or updates and the price to renew an expired licence is twice that of one that is current. Antivirus renewals are mandatory due to the need for up to date virus definitions.

How is pricing for user upgrades calculated?
It's straightforward to add users at any time should you bring on new staff, either by finding the keys in your account , or by using the online upgrades checker. For reference, additional licences are calculated by looking at what the new price of your licence would be at the required larger size, and subtracting the new price at the size it's at currently. There's also approximately a £10 administration fee applied in the calculation.

Do the AntiVirus and Outlook Connector licences have to match the MDaemon licence size?
Only the AntiVirus licence needs to match. Outlook Connector and ActiveSync keys don't.

How long will it take to get my licence key?
