About Zen Software

Zen Software was established in October 2000 by Ross McWilliam, then Operations Director at ISP Zen Internet, specifically to resell two main software product lines - WinGate from QBIK (New Zealand) and MDaemon from Alt-N Technologies (Texas, US). At the time, both products were published by Deerfield in the US and had become very popular products within Zen Internet's customer base and so a seperate business to handle licence sales and support made sense. Early sales proved to be excellent and in September 2003, following Alt-N's split away from Deerfield, Zen Software became the exclusive Distributor for Alt-N's products in the UK and Ireland. Soon afterwards in 2003 we also became the Distributor for QBIK's products when they also split away from Deerfield.

Since then, Zen Software has established a successful Partner channel of over 700 resellers across the UK and Ireland and has grown into a compact but highly efficient company staffed by a friendly bunch of like minded people who are capable of providing the very best levels of technical support and service possible.

Although we've taken on a number of other products over the years, our close relationship with Alt-N Technologies still forms the basis of our company's business and this remains likely to be the case for the forseeable future.

Originally based at Zen Internet's original HQ in Rochdale, in 2005 Zen Software relocated to Manchester and now has an office suite in the prestigious business park on Princess Parkway, Manchester.
