MDaemon and WorldClient - a winning combination for email, calendar and task sharing

Where Outlook requires installation and configuration as well as expensive licencing, WorldClient is FREE, easy to use and only requires a modern web browser3 to access. WorldClient provides integrated groupware features such as shared calendars, contacts and tasks without the need for any further software, as a result many companies are deciding that it provides a better all round solution to their requirements than the traditional, but vastly more expensive and complex, Exchange + Outlook based alternative.
WorldClient uses the industry standard IMAP protocol to access email folders meaning that users can optionally switch to and from WorldClient and other IMAP clients such as Outlook, Outlook Express or Thunderbird as required
In addition, Outlook users can gain integrated access to all their WorldClient folders such as Email, Calendar, Contacts and Tasks by using the Outlook Connector plug-in for MDaemon.

After using the horrendous Turnpike program for a major client's mail server, we looked at various products, including Exchange server and IceWarp's Merak MailServer. We initially settled on Merak though this was delayed due to the complicated installation process. MDaemon was suggested to us so we decided to 'give it a go'. And we are SO glad we did.
Whilst we are still to use MDaemon to its potential, I must say how impressed I am with the software. Not only is it stupidly easy to install and set-up, its use is painless. I certainly heartily recommend MDaemon to anyone looking to install a mail server application. There is only one problem - because it is so easy to use and configure, professionals like myself will find it difficult to earn a living from it.
20 minutes to install and initially configure - compared to 3+ hours for Turnpike or Exchange server Virtually no maintenance (yet) - compared to at least 4 hours per week for Turnpike.
MDaemon appears, at first view, to be the dream product as far as mail servers go. Feature rich; ease of use and integration with existing clients make it a 'must have'.
