Entering your new MDaemon registration key

1. Access the MDaemon GUI
   To do this, double-click the MDaemon envelope icon in the system tray at the bottom right of the desktop as shown here.

   

2. Select Register... from the Help menu
   From MDaemon's 'Help' menu, select 'Register your Alt-N products...' as shown here.

   

3. Select the MDaemon tab
   From the 'Registration' window that comes up, select the 'MDaemon' tab and then copy and paste your registration key into the field labelled 'MDaemon registration key'. You don't need to complete the 'License name' and 'Company or distributor' fields.
   

   

   Once, done, click 'Apply' and then 'OK'
4. Restart MDaemon
   Once done, you will be prompted to restart MDaemon.
5. Activating your MDaemon registration key
   Upon restarting MDaemon, you may be prompted to run through the 'Alt-N Product Activation Wizard'. If so, simply step through the process as shown below. This process will validate your new registration key online and will activate MDaemon.

   

   

   

   You don't need to activate your registration key right away however it will need activating within 30 days of being entered into MDaemon.
