The above installer is for Workstation or Server versions of Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 2003 and 2008 (32 or 64bit).
If you are installing BackupAssist on Windows 2008 Server Core or Windows Hyper-V Server please download this installation package instead.
These installation packages include all the BackupAssist add-ons. After using BackupAssist for the 30 day trial period you must
purchase a registration key or remove the software from your system.
Additional notes:
- BackupAssist requires the .NET 2.0 Framework, but the installer will check this pre-requisite and prompt you to install it if required (automatic process).
- BackupAssist Version 5 requires a product key beginning with 'V-5'. Version 4 product keys will not activate with version 5 of BackupAssist: you need a version 5 product key to activate the software. Upgrades can be purchased from our upgrades page.
Opensource Rsync server for Windows
If you are intending to use BackupAssist to back-up to your own Rsync server, you may want to use the following

Upgrading from earlier releases of BackupAssist
When upgrading from an earlier version (v3.x, v4.x or v5.x) please use
this installation package. If you are upgrading from v5.x to the latest v5 release your existing settings will be migrated across automatically.
